NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK 14 to 20 November
ILA (Indian Library Association) declared 14-20 November as National Library Week all over India Since 1968 and various programs are organized to let the public know about the libraries and boost to promote the reading habits.
National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role of libraries, librarians, and library workers who plays in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. National Library Week celebration is a boost to promote the reading habits among the students.
Andhra Pradesh Library Association organized an All-India Library Meeting on 12 November 1912 in Madras. This meeting led to the forming of Indian Library Association. Later ILA declared 14 November as National Library Day. Since 1968, 14–20 November has been celebrated as National Library Week all over India and various programs are organized to let the public know about the libraries.
